I'm all for multimedia.

But sometimes I feel like my eyes need to relax.

to step away from flashing images sounds and video.

It seems like the only time I get to read actual books is on the bus.

well, and on the, you know, in those private moments

But it's so relaxing, to read a book, so easy to become absorbed in it.

I think hypertext can do that too...you just have to stare at it longer.

Sometimes, for me at least, it's easier to stare at nothing than at something.
