I'm no damn good about keeping up my reading list online, and only slightly better about writing them down in my journal. But I did manage to keep track of every book I read in 2002 and 2003, only to track none in 2004. What a waste. Also, I'm looking for a good (meaning both well-written and comprehensive) history of California. Got any suggestions?

Kidd Matteo : 8:27 AMI read The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle last year. Excellent. I'm waiting for Kafka on the Shore to come out on paperback.
Also I bought Jimmy Corrigan in January, after reading the McSweeney's that Chris Ware edited. I'll be reading it soon. I'm really getting into comics now.
At the same time I got Infinite Jest in a post-Xmas sale. Very much a bargain. Haven't even opened it yet, though.
And I, too, have been pretty bad in posting my reading list on my site, but I have been recording it in a txt file.

MacDara : 8:31 AMWhile IACS is good, it's not as good as his other novels. Still, it's very entertaining and well-worth reading.
In The Shadow... is also good, but you can read the whole thing in about 5 minutes. You might want to check it out from the library before you decide to buy it.
