It's the end of the year. Or close enough. Which means that it's time for me to list my favorite albums of the past twelve months. I think. Some of these were released in 2002*, but it's all good because I was hella gone, yo. Whatever. Here you go, in no particular order:- The Fruit Bats: Mouthfuls

- Some crazy-ass band whose name I disremember that we saw at some illegal underground place in Oakland near Jack London Square. They had "Christian" in the name, I think, but it wasn't Kittens for Christian. I was really drunk at the time. A little help here? Thanks.
*okay, so it was only one, but i didn't hear it until i returned from asia and it was a very lovely album. also: i probably would have included the shins new album, but i haven't actually purchased it yet. and i'm still smarting over that mcdonald's commercial. so. there you go.
