Ayurveda is the medical science of yoga. It is an ancient Indian science that has been studied for ages. Anyway, I like to try and incorporate a lot of Ayurveda's suggestions in my life, and i think that I will start posting some of them every day. (or at least every day that I update this weblog, which lately has not been very frequently)... Anyway, first Ayurveda tip of the day is this...
**For quality digestion, eat a slice of fresh ginger before meals. **

I read an amazing article in the New York Times today about our changing world and our responsibilities in it. This is a must read. The United States spends one tenth of one percent of our budget on foreign aid (?!). Hopefully I read that wrong, but that is what I read. Poorer countries spend more than that. So, readThe Inescapable World. It makes me want to look for ways to become more active in the world peace and foreign aid movements.
