Last night I saw Mike Watt at the Bottom of the Hill. It was a sick show, the band was much tighter than the last few times I've seen him (probably because it was a tour closer rather than opener). Watt encouraged everyone in the audience to "make your own art" even if you have no skills (has he heard of hamotam?). Solid. But at the end of the night, when I went to buy a Pettibon poster, the poster I've been waiting almost two months for, he sold his last one to the guy in line immediately ahead of me. Bum-mer. So if you have a line on them....
