Hi all,
I hope this is enough notice... On Saturday, September 22nd (the 2001 autumnal equinox), my beau will be putting on a show at Vulcan Studios in Oakland featuring bands on his compilation CD, Embryo:03. The compilation is a great mix of local unsigned bands, most of them friends of ours. [Check out my two bands, That Hideous Strength (art rock/spoken word) and The Andy Peters Show (crazy-new-wave-rock-cheeze).]
The show will start at 7 and go to midnight (though bands will most likely start at 8 and we'll finish by 1am). There will be a five-dollar fee to get in, it's all ages, and alcoholic beverages will be free (though donations will be accepted).
