Henry Norr's column today is right on the mark. In my opinion, one of the reasons hardware makers are suffering from the current tech downturn is because software hasn't bloated tremendously in the past two years. The programs have gotten bigger, in terms of size, but the processor power and RAM that shipped in '99 machines is more than enough to handle today's applications. Whatever, I'm rambling. Good column, check it out.
