Don't get me wrong, I love Godspeed, but indie rock has gotten a bit big for its britches lately (not that it hasn't always been that way). This review of Jim Yoshii Pile-Up in Flak Magazine sums it up aptly: if you aren't Godspeed You Black Emporer, Fly Pan Am to Sigur Ros scoring some tragic film lost in a Great Northern winter, then you might as well be playing pop/punk at a frat party.
